Job Summary The Mid-America Center is the Heartland's premier entertainment and convention center. How You Will Create the Extraordinary • Responsible for processing, preparing and delivering guest orders. Operates a cash register, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving guest the correct change. • Interacts with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner while taking food/beverage orders, accepting payment through cash, credit, check and delivery of order to guests. • Responsible for the monitoring and replenishing of all food/beverage products in work area by stocking counters and displays in a neat, accurate and timely fashion. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to delivering freight safely and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities: • Drive on average three nights out per week, and home every weekend. Overnight deliveries may be required. • 95% no-touch pickup and deliveries • Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. • Transport freight to designated regional locations in a timely and efficient manner. • Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections. • Maintain radio or telephone contact with dispatchers to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location. • Maintain electronic logs according to state and federal regulations. • Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documents. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of verificable CDL Class A experience • Clean MVR and safe driving record • Current DOT medical card. • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. • Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements. • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
