Warehouse Associate

Shipping LeadThe Shipping Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe handling of outbound products. This role plays a critical part in coordinating shipments, managing workflow, and ensuring timely delivery of finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and organization. The Shipping Lead works closely with production, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to support on-time order fulfillment, cost control, and overall operational efficiency.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferred2+ years of warehouse or shipping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentPrior leadership or lead experience preferredForklift certification or willingness to become certifiedAbility to operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)Basic math and computer skillsAbility to read and understand shipping documents, bills of lading, and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environmentAbility to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job requirementsWillingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as business needs requireEssential Responsibilities:Oversee daily shipping operations, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on scheduleCoordinate outbound shipments with production schedules to meet customer deadlinesVerify shipping documentation, including packing slips and bills of lading, for accuracyPerform final quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure correct product, quantity, and packagingStage, load, and organize finished goods for shipmentMonitor and maintain accurate inventory movement and shipping recordsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safelyIdentify and resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or issuesMonitor freight activity and support cost-efficient shipping practicesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standardsEnforce safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsProvide direction and support to shipping team members to ensure productivity and accuracyCommunicate effectively with production, warehouse, customer service, and leadership teamsDocument shipments, inventory movement, and discrepancies accuratelyReport inventory issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards promptlyCompensation and Benefits (Washington State Pay Transparency):Hourly Pay Range: $23.00 – $32.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, shift assignment, and qualificationsBenefits include:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and paid holidays401(k) with company matchCompany-provided life insuranceOptional supplemental insurance plansCareer advancement opportunitiesTraining and development programs
