Build Major Midwest Infrastructure Projects with a Family-Owned Heavy Civil Contractor Elder Corporation is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead complex earthmoving, underground utility, demolition, and site development projects ranging from $5M to $50M throughout Iowa and the Midwest. Our Project Managers work directly with company leadership and have the ability to make decisions quickly. Travel schedules typically range from 4-5 nights per week depending on project location, with company-paid lodging, transportation support, and per diem provided. Key Responsibilities: • Assist Senior Estimators with bid strategy development and project planning. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from award through completion. • Monitor project budgets, schedules, manpower, equipment, and material usage. • Track project progress and proactively resolve issues impacting cost, quality, or schedule. • Prepare and submit RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. • Communicate project status, schedules, and deadlines with field superintendents, office staff, customers, subcontractors, and company leadership. • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, subcontractors, and team members. • Preferred experience with: • HCSS Estimating and Project Management Software • Agtek Takeoff Software • Bluebeam • Procore Qualifications: • 5+ years preferred; candidates with strong heavy civil project management experience are encouraged to apply. • Experience with earthmoving, underground utilities, demolition, grading, or site development projects • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications • Working knowledge of heavy equipment and construction methods • Ability to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and projects simultaneously • Knowledge of project budgeting, resource allocation, and construction operations • Valid driver's license required No agency calls or emails, please.
