Order Picker CarParts.com is currently seeking Order Pickers to join our team. In this role, you'll perform routine warehouse/material handling and other duties as assigned. Work involves loading/unloading, picking, packing, putaway through our High Jump warehouse management system. Works under close to moderate supervision with limited to moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. What You'll Do • Unload/load container/trailer as assigned by team lead or supervisor. • Sort product by stock number while unloading onto pallets (containers only). • Transport pallets to assigned area using a dock stocker or manual pallet jack so the receiving process can begin. • Communicate to appropriate team members when container/trailer is empty/full. • Utilize RF scanner/computer to scan item (items) into suggested packing box. • Package item (items) into suggested box using various packaging materials. • Attach shipping label. • Place the completed box onto shipping pallet. • Receive product into our inventory management system (HJ) that is assigned to your area following the proper receiving procedures. • Verify merchandise to packing list/RF gun to assure accuracy. • Sort product to established guidelines. Label product when needed. • Utilize wrist scanner to pick items and move to carton. • Walking the static locations in Warehouse. • Pulling a Cart. • Off load cartons to the conveyor. JOB DUTIES • Shipping • Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pull ticket and customer requirements. • Check inventory to verify availability of needed stock. • Notify Supervisor of shortages. • Package and ship product in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted method/practices • Maintain product stock in work area • Stock shelves • Monitor packaging material supplies and notify supervisor when materials to the restocking point. • Use tablets for order processing, inventory checks, and recording shipping activities. • Receiving • Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment. • Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received. • Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items. • Stocking warehouse shelves. • May be required to operate tow motor. • Use tablets to log incoming shipments in the ERP system.
