Warehouse Receiving Clerk The Warehouse Receiving Clerk's responsibilities include systematically and physically receiving in purchase orders, storage, and dispatch of goods received into the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise the coordination, completeness, accuracy, and condition of all incoming stock and non-stock items ensuring that all necessary paperwork is documented and maintained. • Receive, verify, inspect all incoming Purchase Orders. • Enter accurate information into company software system, Excel & Smartsheets based on accuracy of delivery. • Notate any discrepancies Communicate with Purchasing. • Close Purchase Orders and transmit to Accounting. • Systematically enter all incoming inventory into company software system. • Physically transport inventory to assigned location. • Responsible for safely promoting and maintaining excellent quality through the process, continuous improvement initiatives and timeliness of all products received. • Entering, uploading and scanning of completed BOLs and other necessary paperwork. • Loading and unloading trailers. • Maintain assigned work and warehouse areas at the highest possible daily sanitation level. • Maintain and promote communication between all departments and management. • Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required. • Comply with all AIB policy and procedures. • Complete and file trailer inspection forms. • Complete all necessary inspections and reporting of Returns. • Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management. • Quality checks. • Empty Bin Report. • Weights & Measure Report. • Other Receiving/Inventory Reporting projects. Non-CDL Parts Driver The Non-CDL Parts Driver is responsible for the safe and timely pickup, delivery, and transportation of parts, supplies, and materials between vendors, customers, and Dallas Trailer Repair Co. facilities using a company-provided non-CDL truck. This position plays a critical role in supporting shop operations by ensuring technicians receive the necessary parts and supplies to complete repairs efficiently. The Parts Driver is also responsible for verifying deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and providing professional customer service while representing the company. Transportation and Delivery • Safely operate a company-owned non-CDL truck in compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws. • Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and materials from vendors, suppliers, customer locations, and company facilities. • Load, secure, transport, and unload parts and materials safely to prevent damage. • Inspect shipments to verify accuracy and completeness before transport. • Obtain signatures, receipts, or required documentation for deliveries and pickups. • Maintain communication with Parts Department personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or issues. Parts and Inventory Support • Assist Parts Department personnel with receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing inventory as needed. • Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documents. • Deliver parts and supplies to technicians and shop personnel as directed. • Return cores, warranty items, and incorrect parts to vendors when necessary. • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient parts storage area. • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as requested. Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles. • Monitor vehicle condition and immediately report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns. • Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out. • Ensure all required vehicle registration, insurance, and operating documents remain current and accessible. • Follow all company vehicle policies and procedures. Customer Service • Represent Dallas Trailer Repair Co. in a professional and courteous manner at all times. • Establish positive working relationships with vendors, customers, and company personnel. • Address routine questions regarding deliveries and communicate customer concerns to management. • Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and professionally. Safety and Compliance • Follow all company safety policies and procedures. • Use proper lifting techniques and material handling practices. • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when applicable. • Maintain a safe driving record and comply with company fleet safety requirements. • Report accidents, incidents, injuries, and vehicle damage immediately. Administration and Reporting • Complete delivery logs, inspection reports, mileage records, and other required documentation accurately and on time. • Maintain records of deliveries, pickups, returns, and proof of delivery documents. • Communicate scheduling conflicts, delivery delays, or route changes promptly. • Attend company meetings, training sessions, and safety programs as required. Qualifications: • Valid driver's license for past 3 years with a clean driving record. • Must be insurable under the Company's auto liability insurance policy. • Previous delivery driving, warehouse, parts runner, or transportation experience preferred. • Experience operating a non-CDL truck preferred. • Basic knowledge of truck, trailer, or heavy-duty parts preferred. • Reliable transportation to and from work. • Able to pass background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements: • Able to pass drug test. • Able to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. • Able to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday. • Able to enter and exit a box truck multiple times daily. • Able to work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and humidity. • Able to stand and walk for extended periods. • Able to safely load and unload truck cargo.
