ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Greets, registers, suggestively sells hotel rooms, issues room keys, assigns rooms to guests and sets wake up calls in a efficient, warm and friendly manner. • Ensures guest safety by following established security procedures including fire/tornado procedures, key security and guest privacy. • Date stamps, sorts, and racks incoming mail, faxes and messages. • Records and communicates hotel guest special requests and problems to appropriate department and ensures they are addressed in a timely and acceptable manner. • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and local attractions and provides travel directions. • Accurately checks out guests and communicates departures with housekeeping staff. • Accurately computes bill, collects payment, makes change for guests and makes deposits according to KHC cash handling procedures. • Makes, confirms and cancels reservations via telephone, computer and in writing. • Answers and routes internal and external phone calls in an articulate, friendly manner using prescribed procedures. • Posts charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to ledger. • Deposits guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box. • Maintains the shift-to-shift log accurately to ensure proper communication between shifts is maintained. • Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the hotel lobby and front desk area. KHC POLICIES: Responsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook, KHC Front Desk Procedure Manual and property specific guidelines/standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled. Job Title The Detailer performs various detailing and transportation of new and pre-owned boats, motors, trailers and ATV's in support of a TMBC Sales, Service and Parts operation. Essential Functions • Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. • Washes, cleans, waxes, vacuums, etc. interiors and exteriors of boats for scheduled customer pickups, display and service customer units. • Using a fork lift or tractor, participates in the unloading of incoming boats, motors, trailers and ATVs then transport them to various areas within the dealership, i.e. storage lot, outside display, showroom floor or customer delivery area. • Confirms packing list or invoice of all boat loads or other product deliveries. • Transports and stages customer boats and ATV's to service, rigging and storage yard by moving units from one location to another as necessary. • Maintains an updated list of cleaning supplies and inform Service Manager or Service Lead of needed items. • Assists Rigger and Service Specialist with PDI and VIN verification processes. • Informs Service Manager or Service Lead of any unit concerns or required repairs. • Performs grounds and facility maintenance as required. • Keeps work area neat and clean. • All other duties as assigned. Experience/Qualifications • High School education or equivalent experience • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. • Ongoing verification of driving eligibility will be conducted to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. • Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position. • Successful completion of DOT physical may be required Knowledge, Skills, and Ability • Ability to complete simple math calculation. • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and fellow outfitters Travel Requirements • N/A Physical Requirements • Maintain required criteria to operate company vehicles and equipment safely • Ability to operate a Fork Lift and tractor • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to stand for extended periods • Ability to work out of doors in all kinds of weather Independent Judgement • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including but not limited to: forklift, pallet jack and hand truck. • Verify documentation matches freight description (e.g. type, weight, hazardous materials), using current electronic or manual system. • Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope). • Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary. • Verify and complete required documentation and reports. • Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed. • Perform hostling duties if required. • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. • Perform other duties as required.
